1. Love You Like a Love Song

This story is more of a love story.

Eleven and Mike have known each other for almost a year.

They have been through a whole lot of misery, but still seem to be drawn to each other.

Now they have the time to be normal teenagers and explore the feelings they have.

And maybe this friendship will turn into something even more.

The story contains 33 chapters and is very popular with over 101,000 hits.

2. Steve Harrington and His Kids

This story is a combination of one chapter mini stories of Steve and the kids.

Every chapter is a story on it’s own with every day things they all go through.

This means that there isn’t a real plot that links these stories together.

However, they are very nice stories on their own.

And it just all is a reel feel-good combination of lovely stories.

This is part 1 in the “Steve Harrington and his Six little Nuggets” series.

It is 78 chapters long and absolutely worth your time if this summary intrigues you.

So go take a look.

3. So Take the Wheel and I Will Take the Pedals

This is a complete feelgood story about Steve and the rest of the kids having fun together.

The writer says there isn’t much of a true plot to the story.

But it is still very fun and lovely to read.

They hang out together and play games, go for a drive and just have fun.

Nothing of the horror like adventures in the TV show.

Just 9 chapters of overal cuteness with the characters we know and love.

4. Jackrabbit Underneath

This story also follows Steve, but this time he has powers.

And even though Steve has these powers, he has never really been aware of them.

So when things het out of hand with the kids he has to save them the only way he knows how.

But he is afraid to use these powers and doesn’t know how to without hurting anyone.

All the characters from the original TV show are featured in this story.

But is doesn’t follow the canon storyline at all.

The story is 28 chapters long with Steve’s adventures while discovering what his powers can do.

5. Emotion Sickness

This story takes place right after the Battle of Starcourt.

Steve is struggling with what happened at the Battle and especially those who they lost.

He gets help from the kids and Robin and they all try to figure out what the Russians were doing.

But he wasn’t prepared for the things they find out.

There is a large conspiracy at play and there is more at stake than just the re-opening of the gate.

The writer has taken it upon themselves to rewrite a bit of season 3.

And they are not using the canon from season 4 at all making this a true original take on the story.

6. Be Brave and Kiss the Girl

This is a teenage romance story between Eleven and Mike.

El Hopper has moved with her “dad”, the Police Chief, to this small town where she now has to attend junior class.

She is beautiful and sweet and the moment she arrives, she is one of the popular girls.

Mike Wheeler has noticed El as well, but she is so far out of his league.

But then he finds out that El actually is interested in him, the geeky, nerdy boy.

She would like to get to know him and really date him.

And Mike isn’t sure if it is the smart thing to do, for both him and El.

This is a sweet story about two teenagers in love, without any of the horror elements from the TV show.

7. Fate’s Expose

This is a fanfic where the characters from the story are watching their own show.

The residents from Hawkins are all abducted.

But not without reason, because their abductor is telling them that they are fictional characters in a TV show.

Of course they are all stunned, especially when they are forced to watch their own show.

And as they watch, they all find out massive secrets about each other.

This has big consequences.

This story is part 1 in the “Big Reveal” series.

It is 17 chapters long and gives a bit of an insight in the psyche of some of the characters.

8. This Universe Is Strange (I’m Stranger)

This story is a crossover between Stranger Things and Harry Potter.

Harry is still called the same, but is now a female.

Harry unwillingly shows up in the town of Hawkins in America of all places.

She never really wanted to go to America and now she is here she needs time to adapt.

But this town is very weird and strange things are happening.

So Harry keeps an eye out on the townspeople, especially on Eleven.

And thats when it gets really interesting.

There are 32 chapters so far, but the writer is working on some of the chapters right now.

So only 22 chapters are available to read, but make sure to come back for the rest.

9. A Walking Denial

This story takes place right after season 2 without any of the season 3 canon.

After fighting an army of interdimensional monsters, everyone hoped things would go back to normal.

Jonathan, especially, didn’t think things could get any weirder after seeing his brother possessed by a terrifying entity from the upside down.

But then Steve shows up at his house making himself at home.

The boys seem to really like Steve and enjoy hanging out with him, so everything seems to be ok.

But Steve isn’t emotionally ok and they all have to deal with that.

It isn’t a very long story with only 10 chapters.

But it feels like a bit of information about the characters between seasons.

10. Days Fade into a Watercolor Blur

The story takes place during season 3 while Steve and Robin are being tortured.

But the writer did change some important elements, like Hopper not seeming to die.

The story focuses mainly on Steve and the aftermath of the torture.

He is now disabled and has a hard time dealing with everything that has happened.

And this has changed him in more ways then one.

Now nobody is sure anymore who Steve really is and what he can do.

This story is part 1 in the “Stranger Things” series and contains one more part.

It contains 30 chapters and has some interesting storylines.
