When Hope Mikaelson jumps into Maltivore, she takes Ryan Clarke with her.
And everyone except Ryan has forgotten all about her, making her enemy the only one left who really knows her.
Because he is all she has left, they grow closer to each other every day.
Hope still can’t forgive him for everything he did to her, but he is starting to grow on her, and she begins to understand him better.
This story revolves around the enemies-to-lovers trope and is a slow burn.
Even though the writer did diverge from canon completely, it feels like a story that could have happened on the show.
