If you are looking for some great Fleabag fanfiction, then this is the post for you.
Fleabag is a British comedy-drama TV show that first aired in 2016 and has two seasons in total.
The show follows Fleabag as she deals with all the drama that comes with dating, relationships, and everything else.
So if you like series with British humor, then Fleabag might be just the thing for you.
Along with the TV show, there is also a whole world of Fleabag fanfiction out there.
But in this post, I will write about some of the most popular Fleabag fanfiction according to hits received on Archive Of Our Own.
Keep reading to find out more about some of these popular stories.
This story is a collection of how Priest and Fleabag spend their weekends.
It gives some insight into the status of their relationship.
But also lets the reader see more of them in a more personal setting.
Also, with every new weekend, the relationship between Fleabag and Priest seems to grow.
And it is a lovely story that is very easy to read.
This story is part 3 in the “Together” series.
So make sure to read the other parts if you enjoyed this one.
2. The many adventures of Fleabag
This story takes place after the break-up at the bus stop.
Every chapter is based on a Winnie the Pooh quote which makes this story unique.
Both Fleabag and Priest secretly want to reconnect after the breakup.
But neither of them is willing to take the first step.
That is until Priest shows up at her house, drunk and singing.
Fleabag isn’t sure what to do with this, but she will need to make a decision.
This sweet and somewhat funny story contains ten chapters and is very easy to read.
3. May These Be the Worst of Our Days
This story is set several years after the ending of season 2.
Priest and Fleabag aren’t a couple anymore, but they do try to stay in each other’s lives.
That said, this is very hard, and they come across many difficulties.
Especially because one of them might feel more than just friendship.
This story follows them on this journey to friendship.
There are some funny moments, but it is mostly a serious story.
4. Its sweet and bitter taste
In this story, it has been two years since Fleabag and Priest broke up.
They didn’t break up because they didn’t love each other anymore but because he loved God a little more.
And he moved away to a small town that needed a new Priest.
Even though Fleabag has made her peace with it, she still feels sad sometimes when she thinks about him.
The story is only one chapter long with 3760 words.
So it is a short but lovely story.
5. Don’t Look Down
This story follows the canon pretty strictly with some minor adjustments.
It really reads as a love story.
Because Fleabag isn’t used to feeling these strong emotions, she does not know how to handle her relationship with Priest.
At first, she tries to tell herself it is just physical.
But she soon realizes it is much more than that.
And now she has no idea how to deal with this.
It is a romantic story with some sarcastic humor as well.
It truly reads as a British comedy.
6. The fox in motion
This story is a crossover between Good Omens and Fleabag.
It takes place around the fourth episode in season 2 of Fleabag and episode 3 of Good Omens.
And even though it follows canon for both series for the most part, it deviates a bit to make the combination.
Fleabag and Crowley walk into each other.
And somehow find that they are both in the same predicament: wanting someone to pick them over God.
This is a funny and sometimes emotional story with only one chapter.
But it is well written and worth your time.
7. I think you know how to love better than any of us.
This story is part 1 in the “Fleabag Fluff” series.
It is one chapter long and contains some major spoilers for season 2, episode 6.
Because of this, it is safe to say that the writer did stick to the canon.
Fleabag and Priest have broken up.
But then Priest shows up at her doorstep claiming some wild things about foxes.
And eventually, he just gives up and gives in to his feelings.
It is a very short story, but with the rest of the series, it is a great start.
8. I’ll Go Up to Three
In this story, Fleabag finds out she is pregnant with the Priests baby.
This wasn’t planned at all, and she is freaking out about what to do.
And then it gets even crazier as she discovers she is pregnant with triplets.
For a long time after birth, Priest isn’t a part of the kids’ lives.
But one day, he shows up and tells Fleabag he wants to be in their lives just when she has settled into the routine with three kids.
The story reads easily, albeit with some big-time jumps.
So you do have to keep your focus while reading.
9. Lunchtime in Hell
Fleabag is meeting with Priest, her father, and her godmother for lunch.
And this is always a challenge because her godmother seems incapable of saying something nice.
As expected, the lunch isn’t going very smoothly.
Even though Flaebag tries to get some support from Priest, he doesn’t seem to know how to deal with this woman either.
This story is part 4 in the “Fleabag Fluff” series and another one-chapter short story.
10. Coma Girl and the Excitement Gang
This story takes place about a year after the ending of season two.
It is written as a script for season three and therefore takes some time to get used to.
The first scene features Priest running through the streets of London to the Hospital.
The scene cuts to a hospital room where Fleabag is covered in blood and bruises, hooked up to machines.
Claire tells Priest they aren’t sure what exactly happened but that she was hit on the head with something large.
And from there on, the scenes continue with Priest trying to cope with all this while Fleabag is fighting for her life in the hospital.
This is a completely different story from the others, but still very much worth the read if this summary sounded interesting.
