One day, she meets a young boy who loves to read and has his head in the clouds.
This boy is so different from the ones she knew back home that she is instantly fascinated.

The story follows Percy and Vex’ahlia as they meet and slowly fall in love.
Neither of them expected it or meant to meet their one true love.
But maybe that’s for the best because now they both can fall even harder.

Each chapter is a short story on its own, but it somehow feels like one large story.
They are all very original stories about the different characters from the Mighty Nein with some lovely elements and found family love, but also some hard subjects that give it depth.

The writer created a new backstory for Veth in this story.
Here Veth meets Bren, a feeble-minded young boy who has been locked up.
She posts bail and decides to take him in and raise him as if he were her own.

This is an alternate universe story with some parts in canon, but mostly all new storylines.

It is a fun way of writing a story and follows all the main characters.

They show a large found family and how important those relationships are.

8. Traveling Hearts
in this story, a stranger comes to town and takes possession of Lucien and the Mighty Nein.
Jester is saved in the nick of time by Caleb, but they still all get caught up with this cruel wizard who is more powerful than they have ever seen before.
Jester is the only one who can save her friends, only she struggles to make a plan.
Caleb and Jester think they have found a way to save the rest, but it might be at a cost they aren’t willing to pay.
This is a very interesting story that shows a whole new side of Caleb and Jester.
This fanfic is part one of the “Travelling Hearts” series with two parts in total.
9. A Whisper On My Shoulder
This story follows Percy after the Briarwoods attack.
Percy wakes up the morning after, unsure where he is or what happened when it just comes back to him.
He remembers many of the horrible things that happened, but most of all, he remembers the ghost.
And when he realizes he is the only one in his family to survive the attack, it does not take long to figure out who the ghost is or what the ghost wants from him.
A great alternate universe story with a central main character is the story’s true focus.
10. Stuck on You
This story is an alternate universe where the Briarwoods never actually took over Whitestone.
It follows the announcement of the arranged marriage for Percy.
He never wanted to get married this way, but it is what his father wants for and from him.
At the same time, over in Syngorn, Vex’ahlia is called to her father to hear the same announcement.
Only she reacts very differently and has no intention of following through with this marriage.
Now it is just a matter of time before the whole situation escalates.
It is a short story with three chapters and 42992 words.
But it is absolutely a great story within this fandom.
